OOTD: Gingham Style

DSC_0051I have to admit that I’ve been in somewhat of a wardrobe funk over the past few weeks.  It’s been unusually cold and dreary and I don’t know….  I just found myself extremely frustrated by it and completely unmotivated by anything in my closet.  Ughh.  I haven’t felt like that way in quite awhile….  and if I’m honest, there were quite a few days that I wasn’t at my fashion best.  Double Ughh.

DSC_0049Looking back over these 2 weeks, I probably should have buckled down and found a way to be more creative with what I had… but I just wasn’t feeling it.  I guess with Easter coming this weekend and a moderate break in the cooler weather, I got my inspiration back today!  I decided to take advantage of the gorgeous weather to put together  a few spring items that I picked up awhile ago.  It’s time to get back to blogging and being fashionable again!!

So, let’s start first with gingham print…  this trend has definitely been on my list of must have items for spring this season.  Not that gingham is anything new, it’s been around forever, but I feel like it’s been given a fresh new makeover recently with all the new colors available!  This is definitely much different than that picnic table version of years past!  Gingham is ultra versatile and I am ready to declare it the must statement piece for spring and summer!DSC_0038DSC_0063

Are you loving gingham right now?

I was having the same kind of funk after it snowed here last week and then the dip in temperatures again! I think everyone is over winter! But you bounced back!!

    • Thanks Jackie! Yes, I am definitely over winter and you’re right, I think everyone is at this point. Maybe this is the last of it and we can move on to warmer weather and more sunshine! Definitely ready!! 😉
